Default An odd driveshaft question......

Ok this is gonna be an odd question. So I have a 97 Dodge Ram 1500, 5.9, auto. It's extended cab. I'm swapping the auto out for a nv4500 and I beleive the 241 tcase. It's out of a 94 ram 2500 with the 5.9 gas motor. This truck is standard cab long bed. Now how in the *^#k do I get one of the trucks driveshafts to work. Do I get one cut down and is there a piece to convert the size difference?! Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Measure the driveshafts, and compare lengths. Good chance they will be pretty close, then you just get the 'adapter' u-joint, if you use the 2500 shaft. I don't recall if the spline count was the same on the 231 and 241 t-case output shaft....
