Default Pass side lower control arm bracket

Still having issues with the lower control arm bracket on the axle end. It broke and I tryed welding a plate of metal to try and band aid it till spring but that just broke also. Anyone else ever have this happen to them? Any more ideas would help. Thanks

Post pictures. You probably will have to weld a whole new bracket on.

I couldn't find a bracket anywhere. Everywhere I look I just come up with is the control arm itself. And to do that I think I'd need a shop to do it which is what I'm trying to avoid

Holy rust batman.....

I'm not a welder. But I know you would have much more success by cleaning it up real well to get to bare metal.

There's always the option of putting another axle under it....

Ya the rust is bad. And not even 90k miles on it yet. The last owner didn't seem to clean it much. And when I did the plate weld on it I cleaned it down to nice clean metal. Still didn't hold. And I thought about a new axle but I'm very limited on what I can do in my driveway. And limited on cash but I have thought of that. Which I'm thinking is the only other option. So either that or sell it but it's my daily driver. That's why I'm hoping some one has done this a different way and can save me : )

I was thinking of making some sort of bracket to bolt on to the old one some how but I'm not much of a metal fabricator. Plus only have the simple at home tools so I've been just thinking non stop of ideas

I did an axle swap in my driveway. Going to Dana 60s.

The front axle literally bolts in. If you have some jacks and Jack stands it takes only a few hours.

And those pics are bad too from almost being dark and laying in a few feet of snow and it being covered in ice. Had to melt it all off first
