Relay just supplies power to the trans. PCM controls all the grounds for those circuits.

So if history was to repeat itself what was the conclusion on what to replace or do an how to do it just for future reference

Try the same process that worked this time. If it works, all well and good. If it doesn't.... may be time to drop the trans.

I figured that was the answer I would get makes since to me.
That's ok though I know it's gotta be fine that's the last thing on my list to make this truck mechanically brand new. Thanks for all the advice everyone!! This forum had done wonders for the issues I have had lately
