I've been wondering on this for a while now and I wanted to know , I have 2 6 inch kc driving lights, if you can install them behind the grill to get the "hidden light effect"? Any answer will help. Thanks.!

It doesn't seem like a lot of clearance for the lights and the cooling and air flow will that be a problem?

Under normal conditions, probably not. But, on a hot day, hauling a heavy load, you might have issues. Also, how hot to the lights get? Not gonna melt the grill are they?

We have 2 dodges and would like to do it to both of them to make a "twin" set the 99 model Dodge ram 1500 and and 06 2500 cummins . The 99 is the one I have and is the one we are most concerned about. Will they fit in the 99?

Take a look and see. Question becomes, what do you mount them to?

That would put them in front of the grill.
