Default NV4500 Swap!! Please help!

Hello! I have a 99 Ram 1500 4x4 with a 5.9 magnum and extended cab. My engine is on its way out and I plan on replacing the trans at the same time. I am hoping I can get some help putting together the pieces before I attempt the swap and realize I'm missing something!

What tcase/output shaft would I need to mate with the rear end? I've read I can use my stock DS..?

My parts list:
NV4500
5.9 Gas bell housing
Bell housing dust cover
Shifter fork/ball
Pilot bearing/sleeve
Master/slave cylinder
Flywheel/clutch and bolts
Clutch/brake pedals
Shift tower/ lever (is there a difference?)
Shifter/boot
Front DS
PCM (if CEL stays on)

Is there anything I am missing here!? Thanks in advance!!

Best bet is to buy the whole donor truck if you can. Then, if you find you need another part, just walk over, and take it off.

If you can't get the whole truck, NV241 would be a good choice for t-case.

Make sure your trans, and t-case are from a v-8, gas truck. V-10 and diesel have larger shafts/different spline counts.

Thanks for the help, hey you! Would i need to modify anything for that or will it bolt up to the front and rear DS without complication?

Unfortunately with where I live I would not be able to keep a doner truck lying around.. otherwise I would. I plan on ordering everything I need online except for some of the more common stuff I can get at a junk yard. I'm pretty much gonna have a whole new truck after this!

They are rare.... might be NP241D for that matter too... (New Process had a couple different naming conventions..... no clue why.)

I think the spline count on the rear shaft is the same, and it may just work. However, I think the front shaft mounted differently, or was a different length.... may wanna score one just in case. (would need a different U-joint at the front diff to adapt to it though.)

Splines should be same count as long as you are within close years and not changing from gas to diesel. http://www.allstategear.com/NV4500.htm use this as a parts reference and catalog...
