Default Do I have keyless entry?

I have a 1995 Ram sport 4x4 club cab w/5.9L, I read recently that some of these might have keyless entry. I have never had a fob only a key, but if it has it, I will find a fob.

I did searching, all I could find was to look for a green wire under the dash. I cant find this wire but this doesn't necessarily mean it's not there. Is there any other way to tell if I have keyless entry?

Get your build sheet. It will tell you exactly what was on your truck. I am not sure the 97 and older trucks even had it as an option though, as for the 98 and up fellers, the keyless entry was part of the High-Line central timer module.

It wasn't even an option on my 96 so I would venture to guess the same for a 95.

Keyless entry started in 97. I just looked at the sales sheets.

I'm not sure if I have keyless entry or not. The picture on the dealers site I bought the truck from showed one, but he never gave me one. I bugged him for a month about the keyfob and he ignored me (why not, he already sold the truck afterall). If I have keyless and need new fob, anyone know what's involved in that?

Sorry to thread jack OP, just slightly related topic.

Yea lets hear the proof! It was not listed in the dealer sales brochures until 97. Just because you have keyless entry doesn't mean it is factory. It could have been added.

You are going by a ****ing sale brochure lol. I know what it came with and what it did not. If you dig through my many years of posts you should find the factory window sticker here on DF.

Yes it has a factory sunroof as well, bet you won't find that in any sales brochure.

my 97 had it when i bought it, but the previous owner installed a viper alarm really crappy.... so half the time i would open the door it would go off and the fob wouldnt work to turn it off so i had to disconnect the bat to get it to stop. therefore i ripped that **** out and i just use the key now.. thinking about doing remote start soon tho

I have ordered two of them off ebay. You have to go to the dealer and give them $25 to hook their scan tool up to the truck to program the new fob to the truck. If you already have a key fob then you can program more with it but you need the dealers scan tool if you don't have one programmed to the truck already.
