I grew up where the OP's housekeeper got hassled and learned to check my lighting all the way around quite frequently. It's never a good idea to invite contact with law enforcement, and it's an especially stupid move these days with so many pigs being in the legalized highway robbery business (by way of the War On Drugs and civil asset forfeiture).

Ironically, in the context of this thread, Texas is one of the worst states in which to live if you wish to avoid being robbed by the pigs because that state has very permissive civil asset forfeiture laws, and in most cases the innocent victims are never charged with a crime or even issued a traffic citation. Just thought I'd throw that out there to cause hate and discontent...
