Mighty Car Mods on Youtube debunked one of those things. They sent it off to one of their friends who is an electrical engineer after they were done w/ their dyno runs and he confirmed that the chip inside of it served only the purpose of making the little LED do fancy things.

Seriously. You really think spending $20 will get you 35-45 hp and 3-5 mpg? If it sounds too good to be true, it usually is.

I guess before posting such snake oil questions I should do my due diligence and search the site for such inquiries… I had no intention of purchasing this or wasting my money I should've made that clear but thanks for the video quite entertaining

Given that these things have been proven, time and again, to do all of nothing, and the claims they make for them..... I am REAL curious how folks can even legally advertise/sell them.... They are lying. Plain and simple. Aren't there some variety of consumer protection laws these are violating??

There's no magic bullet for V10 mpg's. Keep it tuned and keep the filters fresh and enjoy it. I get 9 around town and 13 on the highway. It is what it is.
