Default Dana 44 axle nuts

Whats the best way to remove front Dana 44 axle nuts? I have used a 4' pipe on my 25" 1/2" drive breaker bar and twisted off the drive. Have soaked threads down with PJ Blaster for 3 days. I have applied heat, I'm really beat up over this....Any suggestions ?

Powerful impact wrench, or meaner drive tool, and longer pipe. Them fellers are TIGHT, and they are lock nuts.

Are you using an actual breaker bar? Or just a big ratchet.

I twisted the drive off my 45 yr old 25"craftsman forged steel Breaker Bar. This breaker bar has not ever let me down in the past. I feel as I have lost a good old friend. My next shot will be heating the nut with a map gas torch and using a better quality air impact. Any other ideas I will gladly try.
Thanks for the advice,
Scotty

1/2 inch is too small!!!! You need at least a 3/4 drive.

My 3/4" Ingersoll Rand impact has never failed me yet! Heat also helps

The left side came off after considerable effort along with all the threads on the axle stub. The right side just about fell off in my hand. Go figure. Now I'm in search of a replacement axle stub. Any suggestions ?

Junkyard, or one of the part-locator sites on the web. Car-part.com? They have a pretty good search engine. Either that, or see if the parts stores can get one new..... (quad4x4 probably has them in stock.....)
