Now if you want to completely remove the stock looking fog lense and go for a halo angel eye fog light or something else , I'd go with what white knuckles says and use a relay to the stock switch.. read some install info or watch some videos on installing relays/fog lights if you think it's too much for you.. after doing that you'll feel more confident doing it yourself as opposed to taking it to the shop and paying 400+ for something so small.

$400 for new fogs??!!??!!?? Wayyyyyy too much. New lenses and bulbs less that $50 just about everywhere except the dealership. What kind of bulbs do you want? Oh, and the fog housings are different between the sport model and the slt models.

Yes those(the ones linked by mda) are direct replacement for your lenses and should take just about 20 minutes or so tops to do yourself. They will use your factory switch as well so no worries there. They usually come with 896 fog light bulbs(the ones linked by mda do come with bulbs as well), don't let that place rip you off, that's such an outrageous price they gave you to do that,I'd go to my local news and have them do one of their investigations into that.they were totally taking advantage of you.

I have a 1995 2nd gen and my tuck didn't come with the fog light set up so i got the fog light switch and the wires that you plug the bulbs to. I have everything hooked up but the fog lights dont turn on and the light on the button doesn't turn on either. And the fuse is good. Can anyone help me with this?

Grab the service manual for your truck from this thread. Check the wiring diagrams to make sure you didn't miss a trick.

About a month ago I installed a set of those $30 Amazon fog lights mentioned previously. Bolted right up used all factory wires and the clear lenses give better light than what I had been getting from my old cracked yellowish lenses. They aren't $300 off road lights but they do the trick. Would have been 15 minute job, but I bumper painted the plastic around the housing black to match everything else. IMO The grey looks out of place on a black truck, so after 17 years I finally made it match.

Pop the hood then reach behind the bumper and feel around for the two nuts on top of the bracket.
