Default 318 build 58cc heads

Ok I got a 318 bored 30 over crank has been turned I assemblied to spec seemed to be tight. i dissassembled before firing and saw the valve hit the top of piston I didn't think I'd have ptv problems but flat pistons and 58cc heads idk what I need to do in order to run then. Should I mill Pistons? Get a thicker head gasket? Dif pushrods? I'm running a 1.6 rocker. Need help . Thanks not sure if any of u guys are running these heads on a 318/360 gasser . It's an 01 ram 1500 ext cab short bed .

You can get valve reliefs cut into the pistons. I would recommend it.

Is there a way around relief cuts like an adj push rod or back off the lash once valve is open/closed when torquing the rocker stud? I wanna know if anyone els is running these heads what did they do to run these Pistons. If I were to have them machined would it run fine?

It would decrease compression ratio a bit. (though not enough to make any sort of difference in power.) I would take it to a machine shop you trust, and have the work done. The only other alternative you have is a smaller cam.

I'm still interested in why you have the interference.
