Unfortunately, I don't think anyone has found a way to accurately decode those numbers.

Upload your pics to someplace like photobucket, and then just imbed them here. (photobucket provides the code)

If you look on the back side of the t-case, on the tailshaft housing, there should be a VSS. It's gear driven off the output shaft. That is what runs the speedo. If you don't get a speedo reading, verify you are getting power TO the sensor first.

You seem to have some extra wiring there.

Can you get a pic of the tailshaft housing on the t-case? (where the sensor should be, drivers side, I think.....)

I think your transfer case has been changed out, for one from a 98 model year truck. It does not have the provision for the VSS on the output shaft. Explains why your speedo doesn't work......

Is the plug for it drifting around there somewhere?

You should be getting a whole host of codes..... including a few trans codes...... Which won't reset...... (or, will immediately come right back....)

Do you get TCC, or O/D??

With no speedo i have to manually shift the gears and no OD. Another reason why i need to get the speed sensor or other wiring corrected

I do have a host of codes...abs error codes, o2 sensor code...which i already knew by getting under the truck. Just those 2 alone can be a massive under taking ...but not to expensive..thankfully
