Default Misfire cylinder 4

Gentleman,

Code says #4 misfire. Changed plug, checked wires and distributor.

(Replaced wires plugs and distributor last year)

Don't know where to turn next-appreciate any help!

98 ram 1500 5.9 4WD

Swap injectors on cylinders 2 and 4. See if the miss moves with the injector.

Compression test. Dry, then wet. Post the numbers.

Pull that plug and stick a different one in, or swap a plug. Check the gap on that plug also.

Changed out plug with new one-a day later check engine light back on....

Trying to find instructions on swapping injectors..!

Take out the two bolts that hold the fuel rail down on that side, CAREFULLY pry it to get the two injectors out of the intake manifold, release the clips that hold them in the rail, swap 'em over, reinstall everything. A bit of oil on the o-rings makes them go back together easier.
