Yep. Bad idea. Replace the sensor, they are about 35 bucks or so, and hide under the distributor cap.

Fix that first, see if the problems go away.

Thanks, HeyYou - I pulled every electrical connector I could reach (including the CMP) and cleaned the contacts, then loaded all the connectors with silicon grease.

If I throw another code, I'll replace it. I just hate geting back there! such tight quarters!

Yeah, I seem to have misplaced my arm with three elbows, for reaching into areas like that..... Personally, I think engineers hate mechanics.
