How do the joints look? Did the tire spin fairly easy? Didn't stick at any point?

when the front is jacked up (even one side at a time), take off the wheel and wiggle the U-joint with your fingers. See if it wiggles. Mine was ready to break loose if I didn't wiggle it myself.

Could be the centercaps of your rims (if you have them). I have that problem with my vehicle and I have to put a bead of RTV on the centercap rim to stop the problem...every 4 months!!!

If you have centercaps in your rims, it is probably them.

No center caps, it a solid rim (Only one piece), I didnt try taking the wheel off though just jacked it up and wiggled the tire a bit, i'll go try that.

I had a similar issue, turns out it was a blown header gasket

you could seafoam the engine and see if white smoke comes out at the header/manifold area.

You'll know it's a header issue or big exhaust leak If you fire it up and it sounds like a Sherman tank

You dont have to lift the wheel to check the ujoints. Usually a visual inspection you will see there is an issue(no cap seal, red dust/rust, gap between the cap and cross=missing rollers). Just turn the wheel out and look at it from the front. If it passes the visual try moving the axle shaft/yoke.

U joints seem fine, did some better listening (sat in the bed an had a friend drive) and it sounds like it may be coming from more of the center to rear of the vehicle. It is also speed sensitive ( stops when I stop, continues and gets faster as speed Increases) which inclines me to believe it could be a somewhat serious issue?
