I am not a fan...... I never have much luck with them. I will NOT install them on anything. Other peoples experiences vary... some swear by them, others, at them....

Are they gapped properly? How long they been in there? Might pull one or two and see what they look like. (and post pics. )

I'll post pics of plugs tomorrow when I get to work. Been in the motor 4 months. Gapped at .040. Gapped them to what it called for. What do you recommend for plugs? I know they have the spark plug poll on here. But I have gotten great advise from you before. So your opinion matters here. Your knowledge is also well absorbed.

I use Bosch Super coppers, or the AC Delco fellers, if they have them in stock. They work fairly well.

just go with stock champions. Some guys here gap them at .036 so they get to .040 as they wear out. However, if you are like me and do a tuneup every year (plugs cap rotor) then gap at .040.

You may want to check the vacuum in the cylinders. Another vacuum leak can be in manifold or throttle plate. With out that vacuum your vehicle will run rough. Since when you let off gas pedal it seems to happen, take look at throttle body wires. If they are loose it might not be closing the plate.

HeyYou. Sorry I wasn't able to post pics this morning like I wanted. Busy as hell at work. Now have to go to other job and do a Trans swap. With that 02 unplugged still running the same no change. Vacuum lines are all good. Hooked up and clear of dry rot. No other air leaks around throttle body or the such.

Smitters... part of that last post was in your direction. Also. Truck doesn't seem to run rough at all. Just lean and annoying popping.

HHHhhmmmm.... Got a scanner you can plug in, and drive it for a bit? I would be interested in what fuel trims look like. (long and short term.)

HeyYou.... Sorry it took so long to post pics. I lead a busy life at times. Haha

Here are the pics of plugs. They are laid out just as you would be looking at the motor.

I stand corrected on my other truck. Autolite 5224

1, 3, and 5 look like they are running lean. Have you fixed your plenum yet?
