Sometime it will be hit or miss. When mine was going some days it would idle and sometimes not until it wouldn't idle at all. Just was wondering how many miles you have on it?

Hhhmmmm..... too high. Not really what I expected.

Have a scanner than can read live data available? If so, check and see what TPS, and engine temp are being reported at.

Just an update, Clean tb, tps sensor seemed ok not catchy at all, and iac valve was pretty dirty so cleaned it up. Will let you know if still have problems.
HeyYou, I have a scanner I will hook up. I know my temp gauge was reading 0 so I replaced the temp sender at same time as cleaning and now the temp is registering but reading way high like high 200's so its still not right. Think I got a bad sending sensor or is it the temp sensor?

Mine runs with the gauge just above 200 most days. Doesn't matter what temp it is outside. I don't think they are the most accurate to begin with. With the engine fully up to temp, what is the gauge telling you? Does it agree with what the scanner tells you?

I cant find my software for scan tool to see what the numbers are, it shows around 235* warmed up but I know that's wrong. It was showing nothing and after replacing sender it shows that. I did find the insulation on wires for temp sensor was rubbed bare so I taped them up and no change. Is my sensor bad as well?

Also as far as the cranking goes, Cleaned the tps, iac and tb and still did it today. Cranks for about 6 or 7 seconds before starting unless I hit the gas pedal. Could it be my fuel pump??

Reset the PCM, and let it relearn the sensors. Give it a couple days.

If the pump is getting a bit weak, it won't fire as soon as you bump the key.... at least, not first thing in the morning...... If it's only cranking for a few seconds, I don't know that that is a problem I would expend a lot of time/effort/money trying to solve.

Temp sensor could be lying...... so could the one the PCM is using.... that would give some rather odd results.
