How far has anyone cut the keg runners back? I wanted to cut them out completely but was wonder if that would effect the air temp sensor. I figure the map would be fine since its on the throttle body. And it would theoretically be more open than just cutting the runners an inch and would aid in air flow a lot as I plan on doing more work to it later. I'm already doing a plenum repair so I figured why not

Some folks have removed them completely..... but, I suspect that does more harm than good. You get the crappy flow from the base design, but, none of the advantages of the long runners......

Shortening the runners up moves you power band up. Cutting them an inch or two, moves it up a couple hundred RPM, removing them completely would more than likely trash your bottom end torque, but, wouldn't return that disadvantage with more power in the upper rpm range, simply because of the flow characteristics you would end up with.
