i disconnect and everything works fine top and bottom.

Identical till i just pulled on the old one,ughhh..... can you tell me how i can release more cable? the right way? and Hey You,thanks for responding so quick.Some days you wake up and feel like the scarecrow ya know

Sorry for the delay, my internet is being flaky....

There should be a release on the throttle body end of the cable, either a tab you pull out, or a button you press in.
