Extra port on intake manifold?
Quick history:
Broke bolts trying to replace thermostat.
Broke "back out" bit trying to recover bolts
Bought used manifold on ebay as it was cheaper than trying to recover bolts
New (to me) manifold had all the same numbers
decided to change the plenum while I had it off
(had a few issues that are not not relevant to my question.....)
Installed, drove around the block, all seems well
Question:
The new manifold is identical to the old one with the exception of one extra port on the passenger side. Should I cover this? if so, with what? do they make dummy covers for empty ports?
Thanks

If your truck does not use the additional vacuum line I would plug it. Right now it is acting like a vacuum leak. A cheap fix is a short piece of vacuum tube with a like sized bolt to act as a plug or buy something like these at your local auto parts or hardware store http://www.autozone.com/fittings-and...nt/125932_0_0/
