Default 2 connectors for ect sensors

long story short i need a new ect sensor on my 95 360 2500. the sensor i took off has one prong but looking around i see the ones with 2 and 1 prongs. when i looked at my harness it looks like I have two different connectors for the same sensor. please help because if they aren't for the same sensor then I have an unplugged wire somewhere but cant find it

Your truck uses two ect sensors. A one wire for your temperature gauge and a two wire for your computer.

If you stand in front of the truck, and squint your eyes just right, you can see the two wire sensor just to the drivers side of the thermostat housing.

It went away in the 98 model year, when a whole buncha' other changes came along as well. 96-97 OBDII trucks still have it.

ok so this weekend I plan on taking my accessories off to get to them easier. I have no clue what year this manifold came off of so worst case its not there, could I drill a hole and tap it to fit one in there or do I need to find the right manifold

I believe it's pipe thread, but, that shouldn't stop you from drilling/tapping the hole.

Is the sensor not there? You *should* be able to see it......

No, I do not see it. I do have a junkyard in town that's a pull your own and they have a few pre 97 vehicles that have interchangeable intake manifolds. If I don't have the time I'll just go get one of those. That way I can do the plenum plate too.

I have a spare laying here... but, it would still probably be cheaper to go to the yard, than it would to drive up here to get one. If ya can't find one though, keep me in mind.
