I don't have dual cats, just a Y and single cat. Its a 5.9 v8. Engine code is Z. Sounds like I should just go order the AP catback system and get busy bolting that on.

Thanks!

I finished installing that cat back system today. I think I spent $175 total, got a stainless steel muffler, two mandrel bend tails (aluminized) that exit under the rear bumper, an intermediate pipe, 6 clamps, and 2 universal tailpipe hangers. Ended up not using the intermediate pipe, as the PO messed with it and it required special attention of my mig welder and a little creative thinking. I just bought a 18" 2.5 diameter pipe from advance, cut off the original hanger from the old exhaust, and then made my own custom intermediate pipe. Looks stock, I'm happy with it. I guess I need to sell that new AP intermediate pipe.

Pipes/muffler came from carid.com ... the rest I got from advance.

I haven't put the spare back up, but it should clear w/o issue.

I'll post a video/audio of it running later, there are a few things that need to be addressed before I can run it again.

Here is a link to the catalog picture of the system:
