Default Truck feels like it slips when first driving but drives fine once driven for a little

Truck feels like it slipping and doesnt want to shift from 1st to 2nd when first driving but drives fine once driven for a little. I did the lucas thing but it didnt fix it. It doesnt have any problems once it warms up, shifts and drives perfect as long as i dont park it for a while then it does it again but goes away. I just had a the rear end seals replaced could they have messed up something when fooling with the driveshaft because it didnt do this before the seals were replaced. I need help ASAP. Thanks in advance.

Rear end won't have anything to do with it.

At 191,000 miles, the trans is likely just getting tired. You *could* try replacing the electronics in the trans, and it may help.......

I would say change the filter and fluid first and see where that gets u. Cause the fluid is thick when cold and once it's gets warm it thins out abit and is easier to push through a clogged filter. My opinion that lucas may of hurt abit. That stuff is extremely thick

just a quick drain and fill should be between 4-6. more if you leave it dripping over night. left mine open and dripping for a week and put in 9. you have to pull pan to do one of the band adjustments so while in there you might as well get as much fluid out and replace filter. electronics, optional. just since you will be in there and have access if you wanted to do them now would be the time.
