Default front brake hose bolt 2500 '00

I bought rebuilt calipers/adapters. I returned the cores, leaving the brake hose bolt still attached to the calipers. I thought I was saving time by just cutting off the hose and returning the whole thing. 2 weeks later, I go to install these things.... no hose bolts, so now I'm hosed! Yeah, not saving time now.

I looked online, couldn't find a listing for those. Also looked in the pdf parts book, couldn't find it there either.

Anyone have a source/part number?

Thanks!

Went digging thru the parts manual, and yep. Nothin'. I couldn't even find numbers for the front brake hoses, which strikes me as pretty stupid.....

Best bet is going to be checking the 'help' section at your local parts store. They put out some odd and strange parts, that no one else seems to care about. Banjo bolts being one of them.

This place http://www.factorychryslerparts.com/.../J4006700.html shows them as stock#J4006700 but no longer available from them. Using the # as a search led me to this http://www.amazon.com/review/R3A8WK4URV9E22

THANK YOU!

I did some more web searching, once you gave me that part number.... on a jeep site they talked about that J4006700 number being superseded by 6035911AA. They talk about the dealership having those in stock. I'll pop by the dealership on the way to work and see if it seems right.

I'll report back when I get resolution. Probably won't know for sure until I get all the lines installed and worked out. At least I'll know if it threads into the caliper tomorrow.

BTW I tried NAPA and AdvanceAuto today, no joy.

The part# you found shows in stock at Jegs http://www.jegs.com/i/Crown-Automoti...911AA/10002/-1 if you don't find them local

Found a pair at a dealer a little out of my way. They screw into the caliper, appears the side hole is in the right range, I don't run out of threads pulling the hose boss down. It appears like the collar could be a little tighter at the top where it should mate with the hose boss.... but I assume the copper washer is going to assure a seal.

It'll be a few days before I get all the lines and brake components installed before I can test for pressure leaks.

Thanks for the help. I called the dodge parts guy this morning, they told me not available and gave me that J number. Luckily I had the other number to give him.

There is no way I would get this far so quickly w/o the forum. Thank you !
