Hey, its been a few months. Got em done, they seem to work good but I'm running too rich. I gotta find out if its my IAT or IAC and then go from there. I do have more throttle response and power but that could just be from the plenum. I'll get back to you next week when my new Mopar Sensors come in the mail.

 

On my 98 Dakota my iat sensor would go crazy an show like -50* F which would cause it to flood out from the computer dumping out to much fuel. I think your map sensor might play some role with the fuel mixture too but don't hold me too it

I see a lot of input about more efficient fuel injectors due to rust I have to look into replacing my fuel rail as well soon so does anybody have any recommendations about a more atomizing fuel injector, and good companies to get from? I’ve bought injectors in the past even refurbished and I’ve always had nothing but problems in other vehicles so I’d like to try to avoid that. I hear it’s almost impossible to help the fuel economy in the 5.9 but I definitely would like to find an injector that could help a little bit on that.

 

I also have herd about the 4 hole injectors. But to date i have not seen any hard facts to back up the claim. If i was going to replace injectors i would at least get flow matched ones.

 

So far, I haven't seen anything to indicate multi-hole injectors are any better than stock. Of course, replacing old, dirty injectors, with just about anything that is 'new', should be an improvement. Flow matched though, yeah, that's a good idea. Especially if you do a lot of running in open loop....

From what I have seen, just having fuel sync properly set does the most. The pencil beam stock injectors shoot the fuel at the backside of the rather hot intake valve.... which flashes the fuel into vapor in any event. (not to mention, cooling the valve.....)
