p1762 and p0753
just bought a 99 ram 4wd with a 46re.codes I pull are p1762, p0753 for the trans and p0135 and p0132.I know those codes are due to someone cutting the o2 wires off the sensor.
any way, my tranny only shifts if I manually shift it but no od.just wondering if there was away to test the gov pressure solenoid and the 3-4 shift solenoid.

Check the TV cable first. Make sure it isn't bound up, and making the trans think you have your toenails in the radiator.
If that checks out, and fluid level is good (check in neutral, park gives a false reading) just replace the governor pressure sensor and solenoid.

ill check it.also keeps blowing the 10 amp trans fuse.swapped relays and even tried a 25 amp fuse and still blue that.if a solenoid was bad would it blo a fuse or is it a short some where
Well, it's definitely a short somewhere, and certainly explains your symptoms..... with no power, the PCM can't control the trans.
Does the fuse blow immediately? Or only after driving for a bit? Only when it shifts into O/D?
Engine/trans ever been out of the truck?

I plugged the the smaller connector in to get it started then unplugged it.drove with both unplugged still the same way (figured it would be) but the fuse didnt blow.
am I safe to say the solenoids or wiring inside the trans is bad
If it doesn't blow the fuse with the harness unplugged from the trans, then, yep, that would be a good place to start. Gonna have to drop the pan, so, might just as well change the filter, and adjust the bands while you are in there..... May also want to be armed with all the electronics, and simply replace them. TCC, and O/D solenoids do nothing until you get to above 40MPH or so, so, I don't think those are the problem.
Get the borg warner heavy duty governor solenoid, it's available on ebay, and you can find them with the pressure sensor for around 100 bucks.
As you may need to be in there again...... might consider doing a drain plug in the trans pan as well.
