99 ram 1500 5.2 4x4 no bus signal
sorry for the late update. Been busy the past lil while. Anyways so now I've gone as far as eliminating a few suspected parts that would cause me to sit there and crank the engine till the cows come home hoping it would fire. In the process of cranking it, it'll back fire a lil through the throttle body and every once in a while the engine while spin backwards(or atleast it appears to) I've replaced the coil thinking the old one(was cracked anyways) may have been a trouble spot but sadly wasn't the case.
Aswell when it does miraculously fires up and runs it'll idle anyway from 1000 to 1500 rpm(was I filing at 2000 but unplugged the tps and i got it to drop a bit). Plus now I've noticed that when I turn my heat or a/c on whether the a/c compressor connectors are plugged in or not the engine cuts completely out and if I turn that switch off fast enough it'll fire up on its own without the starter engaging.
Aswell that damn dredded "no bus" signal popped up the last time I tried getting it to fire. I've gone through all the wiring. I've gone through the pdc and replaced every relay and every fuse with new ones. I've cleaned all the grounds with a yellow bristle pad on a die grinder aswell as cleaned all the electrical connections with an electric sensor cleaner I got at the local parts store.
I'm at a lose and thinking it's the computer but any help would be appreciated.
