Default Alternator issue

Anyone know where I can find the little nut on the alternator and what size or am I going to have to buy a new alternator
Edit: dropped it in the yard when doing plenum

Ooops. Any hardware store should have something that will work. May have to take the alternator with you, so you can be sure. (also might have to buy several, just to get one....)

Default Alternator issue

Big oops... Truck runs amazing and sounds good. No check engine light with the cat cleaned out though? Just the gen light

I don't think the PCM cares overmuch about the hollow cat. Mine's been hollow as long as I have owned it, and I have never seen a code for it.....

That's weird. So than why the rear O2 sensor... And metric #4 nut fit perfect. No more gen light. Thank you

On an 01, yeah, it probably will. You can do the non-fouler trick though, to avoid such an event. There should be a DIY in the DIY section detailing what you have to do.
