Default v10 crankshaft pos. sensor

Good morning everyone im new to the forum. I am a mechanic here in iowa and have a 1998 ram 2500 v10. Im in seek of a crankshaft positioning sensor for a v10 gas. Chrysler has discontinued this sensor as for the aftermarket world.

chrysler p/n 56027864
airtex 5S1721
standard PC343
BWD CSS809
AcDelco 2132064

Anyone with one of these part numbers and willing to sell the sensor Please contract me. Im really between a rock and a hard spot here. Thank You!

Doing a search on the standard part number, I came up with several sources. Amazon has them cheapest. Also available on Ebay.

I picked up a spare from rock auto last spring when I placed a big order. It was in stock and shipped right out.

edit: I should have looked first. Out of stock there.

Ive check amazon. the part is listed but stated will usually ship in 1 to 2 months!! & rockauto.com stated the item was removed from my cart due to no availability. Im looking on ebay rite now. locally ive called my carquest/advanced auto supplies, barron motor supply, and my iwi auto part store(iowa, wisconsin, illinois).

Both the V10 crank and cam sensors appear to be out of stock everywhere. I checked all the local shops and had them back check through their systems and they can't even find out when they'll be restocked. This isn't good.

Did find this one on ebay, but it's out of China.

Might be able to get a generic one from the parts store, but, these trucks are notorious for not liking them. The dealer *might* be able to get one, but, from what I understand, they are becoming hard to find. Aside from that, if you have a part number, might be able to find one on amazon, or some such.....

Good Luck.

That looks like the one for the V-8 motors....... Doesn't the V-10 have the hole in the side of the block for it??
