Default Location of Keyless Module 2001 RAM SLT

I have power locks and want to upgrade to keyless entry. I found that the module I need is 56045448AE. Where is the wiring harness location for the module located?

Thanks!

It would be integral to the central timer module. Some models have the RKE attached to it by screws.

I found a module under the dash with the annoying piezo for door open alarms and other alarms. Is the module you are referring to?

After more research I found that I can not add keyless entry. It would require the HLM (high line module) and a different wiring harness.

Default aftermarket keyless entry

if you have power locks alot of car stereo installers sell kits for less than 100.00 installed to make your truck keyless entry and they come with 2 remotes. May want to check there i bought my truck used and plan on installing one myself but i have alot of experience installing alarms and remote starts and such. They can hook you up real cheap.

I will look into that I am a retired electrician and have done electronics work for over around 40 years now. If I can get the kit I can install it for sure. I do have power locks on the Dodge! Thanks for the info

Have you actually asked a question? Considering the last post in this thread was five years ago, I really don't think they are answering yours...... Our ESP isn't that good.
