Seal the rear window at the rubber and body all the way around and pull the 3rd brake light light coat on it I used black ultra I don't have anymore water in my truck. Rear Windows are known to leak in these trucks

I'll have to check that, but the carpet isn't wet anywhere except where the passengers feet are. I would think that you'd be able to feel wetness behind the seat, but I could be wrong.

Floor mainly under the driver-side, but a little on the passenger side. Always got sopping wet after a good rain. I ended up pulling the entire carpet out to dry TWICE. In the end the seal around the third brake light was the problem.

I have a 97 extended cab that was letting rain in. Turns out it was the sliding window in the back window. I replaced the entire back window with a single piece of glass, and no problems since.

Update. Finally got frustrated with all this rain and sent it to a shop. They found it. Someone had installed aftermarket speakers in the doors and the routing of the wires pushed the vapor seal open at the bottom.

Vapor seal? On the INSIDE of the doors? If you are getting enough water inside the door, that it comes out from the vapor seal, into the cab, something else is going on there......

The way it was explained to me was, the wires pushed on the vapor seal at the bottom and broke the seal thereby letting rain water run down the loop, through the opening, down to the door seal, onto the door sill and onto the carpet.
I asked them if they checked other places since I was kinda skeptical and was told yes. I asked if they guarantee no other leaks. They said yes, so we'll see.
