Default flush and fill

hello I need to flush and fill my coolant system and change the tstat..I have 1999 dodge ram 1500 5.9L. Im having a hard time finding out how much coolant needs to go back in it. Im only finding stuff for a complete drain like the block and stuff which said something like 10 gallons. The block cant be that big so Im just wondering if it will come close to that. I would like to get everything before I start instead of waiting to see how much comes out so I know what to put back in. Thanks for any input on this.

I think cooling system total capacity is like 3.5 gallons or so. Certainly not 10...... Usually, a couple gallons of coolant, and the rest water, is great.

In the DIY section it states 20 quarts. Equals 5 gallons.

20qts (including 1qt in the reservoir).
