so something hit my antenna bracket on the side of the cab and now its all wobbly and the mount wont stay in place. I went ahead and took it off and installed a shorty antenna inside the bay for now but am left with an ugly thumb sized hole in the fender. anyone have any ideas on covering it up or maybe fabbing a cap to put over it?
Can you get at it from the inside? Pull the fender well, or some such? Just tack a patch to it, then use your favorite body filler, and shoot a bit of paint....
uh not great since its laying in my fender cause the mount broke haha. im wondering if one of the 3rd gen mounts will work, they look almost identical. otherwise im not sure how im gonna fill this hole. im thinkin about just getting a fin antenna on the top of the cab.
