Default Underside painting??

Is it possibly to paint the axles and frame with the truck sitting together? I want to paint everything with por-15
And I'm slightly limited on tools (and help) and I don't want to just go slapping paint on

On side note, I'm gonna or pulling my steering links to paint them a different color, is there anything I need to avoid doing so I don't end up with the truck pulling to one side or something weird?

Painting stuff while assembled isn't as effective as pulling it all apart, but, I most certainly understand not having the tools/ability to do so. Just clean things up as best you can before coating. The prep work determines how well the job turns out.

Just get it re-aligned after you have it back together.

It's not as effective while it's sitting together but it's manageable.

I painted my rear axle. Wire brushed as much of the rust off as I could, washed it, rust reformer from a spray can, and finally black chassis paint. Cheap, fairly easy, by no means the right way to do it, amazed it still looks good lol. Plan is to wash it and go back over it come spring and just do that every year. Has held up pretty good to gravel roads and the little bit of salt we've had so far.

Bah it ain't much work lol just knock the loose junk off with the wire brush and let the rust reformer do its thing. I was surprised at how much factory paint was still there. Wish i had a sandblaster though. Be easier to clean up the factory block and leaf springs

Yeah, only problem with a sand blaster is it seems like you keep finding sand forever...
