so recently put in a borg warner governor pressure sensor. truck seems to be getting the symptoms again only a few months later. which o2 sensor is on the same frequency. Id like to check if that one is throwing it off. what would be the best test? unplugging it and seeing how it shifts?

I think folks were talking about the rear (post-cat) O2 sensors. You may have two of them, so, just disconnect 'em, and see what happens. (It will set a code.)

alright bout to check that out. I noticed since i put the 4:56 gears in that she shifts a lot firmer sometimes a bit hard. i can never tell with these trannys if firmer shifts are a bad thing. seems to only act up on 1-2 and usually the most in traffic sigh. Always shifts though and on time just not happily sometimes. Fluid is perfect and they only thing i can think of it that damned sensor or maybe a band needing adjusting?

so ya gps code hasnt come back since. Tranny works fine and shifts on time. The only thing that bothers me is how hard it shifts into 2nd. i realize that its tuned and running 4:56 gears, there is obviously a lot more torque then stock, would this contribute to it shifting hard and is the harder shifts bad? i guess ill check bands next? maybe the tv cable again?

Depends on how harsh the shift is. Might just be the tune......
