Removing Steering Stabilizer
I'm having troubling removing the steering stabilizer on my '01 1500 4x4. It's the original part. I got the bolt and nut off the end nearest the wheel and removed that end. I got the nut off the stud on the other end but I can't get the stud/shock to come out. I can take a picture tomorrow if that doesn't make sense.
Does it just come out or do I need a press or some special tool? Or do I just need to show it who's the boss?

I think the part he is having issues with is on the steering linkage..... I would be reluctant to heat that.......
I use two hammers. (well, 3 pound single-jacks, but, still a hammer..... just, a BIG hammer) Hold one against one side of the part the stuck pokes thru, HIT the other side with the other hammer, hard as you can. Two or three good hits, and damn near everything simply pops apart.
