Default window sticker

I bought my 97 SS/T from the original owner and thankfully he kept ALL of his documentation from day 1..

I have a question on the window sticker

under standard equipment it lists " 4 speed HD Automatic Transmission

then under optional equipment it again lists " 4 speed HD Automatic Transmission " but with an added charge of $950

it also lists the base engine as the 5.9L and then 5.9L again under optional with an added charge of $860

The SS/T was just an option package. I think they just broke down what you were paying for it there.....

I've looked at the thing three times now and cannot find where the transmission or engine are listed under "STANDARD EQUIPMENT". They're above that heading.

I did add it all up and the numbers match with adding in engine and transmission that's listed under optional along with base price #
but I guess im reading it wrong..

ALSO sorry as this should have been posted in the general section feel free to move there as it really isn't a tech question

The listed drivetrain at the top is what is on the truck. The break-down of equipment below is what was optioned versus standard. The 5.2 and 5spd NV3500 were "standard" on all trucks. Any truck with a 5.9 and/or the 46RH/E was an "option."

I lucked out too and still have the original sticker. Pretty cool.

That maybe year specific.
My '98 had the auto trans as standard, and the manual trans was an option ($600 credit).
