Default Bad fog light switch?

My fog light switch acts like it is now a momentary switch, meaning the fog lights work but I have to hold the button in. As soon as I let go of the button the fog lights go out. Is this a bad switch?

This is for the 97 Dodge Ram, with the button switch on the dash.

Thanks for the reply. I've looked at the LMC catalog and all through eBay, but I can't seem to find one. I would prefer a new switch over a used one. Anybody have any idea where I can get one?

Dorman doesn't have them, This subject was brought up on another forum and if i recall it's oem only. Mine has been stuck on since the day i got it but it's no big deal if the fogs come on with the running lights. Not staying on is a different story.

Can anyone confirm if the 97 switch is the same as the 98? I think there is one from a 98 in the local pick and pull. If it will work, I can get it for you and send it to you for the cost of shipping.

As far as fixing it, I will pull it this weekend and see. I'm betting that some sort of plastic mechanism has broken inside though. I just finished replacing my dash two weeks ago, and by the time I was done I was just furious by the low quality of plastic they used in these pickups.
