Default H.I.D. Problems and strobes.

Hi all. I have a 2001 Dodge Ram with the 24 valve Cummins. I bought a set of H.I.D. Headlights. When I installed them they both would come on for 2 seconds and then flashed off with a small amount of light coming through the high beam bulb. Sometimes one side would stay on, both sides would do that. I tried different known good ballasts and bulbs and the problem didn't go away. Also I've been looking for some strobing cab lights and have had no luck, any suggestions for either?

Probably need the relay harness sold separately. Stops flickering.

If yours is intended for highway use, throw those High Intensity Dip5h17 glare generators away. The fix is easy enough but no one wants you to have it.

I'm beyond trying to convince anyone these days about how bad HID's in stock housings are for oncoming drivers and the person driving said vehicle with HID's in stock housings. It's like Plastidip and 4' whips. Everyone is doing it. If you only knew how many 2nd gens crowd the local high school parking lots with green, purple and blue headlights.

I don't try to convince them. But I kinda crab up on calling them names here in the forum hoping you'll grin rather than ban me.

The tortilla chips break off in it. And it really doesn't taste good anyway. Not even mixed with tequila.

I build retrofits on the side and troll facebook groups to spread the awareness that anybody with HIDs in standard reflectors is an as*hole

You need to drink more tequila first.
