seat removal

Default seat removal

not sure if this is considered tech or general


long story short headliner is done and the carpet is next.


need to remove 40/20/40 seat.. any tips or tricks
or issues I should be aware of or is it straight forward bolts, nuts
and single wire for power seat?

Unhook any wiring harnesses and unbolt it. Probably have to remove the seat belt anchors as well.

I found out they connected the frame on one of my 96's. One you can take the frame apart (passenger seat/center section) and on the other one you need to take them out as a pair. Everything needs to come off the floor to install carpet. Take note where all the bolt holes are, You will have to cut the carpet to reinstall them all so make sure the positioning is right before you do so.

ok thanks guys.. have to wait for a few day stretch of good weather here in north east
where I have nothing else to do, hopefully by mid April it will be done
