Default Ext. cab door fit std cab?

Im currently restoring my 94 dodge ram 1500 and of coarse the lovely salt of the northwoods has destroyed the drivers side door. My question is will a ext. cab door fit a standard cab??

I think some will but, not doors from extended cabs that have the rear opening door.

Stewie is correct. If the cab has the rear doors, the fronts will not fit on cabs that do not have 'em.

Yep. Club cab = yes, quad cab = no.

Default Club cab door for standard cab.

I took a door off a club cab and put it on a standard cab in the salvage yard. The door panel trim on the bottom corner had to be modified to get the door to close. I had to cut out about a three inch square on the bottom corner.

My extended cab has a standard cab door on the passenger side. It fits but doesn't look right on the bottom corner. I don't think an extended cab door would fit on a standard cab because it has a square corner instead of round.

You are correct. That is why I had to cut out the interior plastic trim on the bottom corner.
