Default 4x4 noise

https://youtu.be/E0e1azXh3m4 recently my 01 5.9 1500 4x4 started making this noise while turning, no noise going straight. This is in 4x4 HIGH, idk if it makes the same in Low. I taped my phone below hoping to pin point the noise, but maybe someone has heard it before?

If you're turning on bare pavement, you are probably binding. If you've been routinely binding, then you've probably broken something. These are 4wd setups, not all wheel drive.

yeah, NEVER use 4x4 on a high traction surface like pavement. That will break things quickly.

Sounds like chain-skipping to me. Chain in t-case is probably stretched, just from age, when you stress it like that, it will skip on the gears.

T case isn't some something they look at when I had my transmission rebuilt last august? Can tcases be fix/rebulit or do I have to a buy a whole new one? Thx

T-case is easier to rebuild than the trans. There are even various kits, ranging from just seal, to seals and bearings, out there in the world. You can replace just the chain, or, the chain and gears as well. Just depends on how things look when you have it open.

Wait not even while it's snowing on the freeway and slightly sticking?

If the pavement is covered with snow, then yeah, 4x4 is fine. If you only have a dusting, then no. Just slow down some to be sure you can maintain control.
