I'm trying to find a good deal with a 3" front end lift kit (springs, control arms, sway bar/traction bar drop down brackets, Pitman arm). I don't need the rear end stuff. I'm hoping for 250-350. Anyone know where to go?

All you really need for three inch, is the springs. Axle will move to one side a hair bit, but, that's it.

I thought all the components need to be realigned so there's not much stress on the joints

Up to 3 inches, things are fine, go beyond that, and you need to start dealing with other components as well.

Be sure and get an alignment when you are done.
