Default Intake Manifold sensors

Was replacing my plenum gasket today on my 96 2500 360 and ran into a few issues, broke a connector for something and a sensor.
Both are coming from the harness that's on the pass side of the engine. The harness also has the plug for the ignition coil and for the alternator.
The sensor I broke is number 3 in my pictures. It's the sensor on the manifold right next to the coolant hose. I believe its the coolant temp sensor. But everywhere I look online that sensor is a 2 pin plug and this one was a single pin.

The other thing I broke I have no idea where it came from or when I broke it. It's number 2 on the pictures.

So my two questions are is number 3 the coolant temp sensor and does putting a 2 pin sensor make a difference with a single pin plug?
And any idea what number 2 would be?
Thanks in advance.

96 Should have two coolant temp sensors. The one you have circled is for the gauge, it's a one wire sensor. The other one doesn't appear in that pic, but, the spot it should be in, just to the right, and slightly *above* the thermostat housing, isn't even drilled for it. That would be a manifold for a 98 or newer truck.

I forgot to mention the pic of the manifold is one I pulled offline. But the only other plug I saw on the manifold is what I have numbered 1 in the first pic and that gets plugged in on the manifold right at the bottom tip of the number 3

Nevermind I just went and looked and I see what you're talking about. So I broke both temperature sensors. I need a 1 pin and a 2 pin sensor now. Thanks HeyYou

Would there be a different name for the single pin one? Not seeing anything like it when I look up coolant temperature sensor

Might need to go to the parts store, so that you can actually look at the sensor before ya spend yer money.

Try searching for it like this: coolant temp sensor (gauge)... or something along those lines. That's how I had to find mine through napa.
If I can find the napa number I'll add it in here.

TS6682SB

Napa Single Wire Temp Sensor

As for your second question, that looks like the plug for intake air temp sensor (the sensor under the #3 in your borrowed pic) . Looks like someone might have done a resistor mod to it. That's just a guess though.
