Would there be any real difference in quality between victor reinz and sealed power?

 

Maybe.... I have heard of sealed power, but, haven't heard of Vic.

 

You can make gaskets from cereal boxes and beer cans that work too, but the money you save on the gasket isn't worth it in the long run.

 

Only reason I ask is the vr kit is ranged from 94-01 and the sp kit is specific to 97 - 01 for the 5.2l 318 magnum....sorry not trying to thread jack here

 

I've used the Victor Reintz(sp?) gaskets before on a Chevy I rebuilt with no ill affects, though I traded that truck off shortly after so can't speak for longevity. I'd still stick with Felpro if at all possible though

 

Sealed power is Fel-pro. VR use to be king, but I haven't heard anything about them, or used them myself in close to 20 years so I can't say much about them now.
