RE: The Pictures I Promised
suspension lift all the way... like socha said... body lifts are a pain.. start with a susp. lift first and after you get addictied to having lifted trucks... then think about a body or a bigger suspension.... my buddy had/has an 01 4X4 slt and we put a 5" sus. on and then he wanted bigger.. to fit 40"s so we put another 3 on with a body... looked great!!!! but still such a pain... and we are lucky... if you look at fords and some chevys... they have IFS.. we dont.. and IFS lift kits are WAY more... front axle (like us) lifts are alot cheaper..
another comment on your exhaust... dude thats huge for a gasser truck... it prolly screams at the top end like theres no tomorow but i bet my grandpas bravada could take you off the line .. gotta get your low end tq back.. specially if your goin big... just a thought!!! thats a sick lookin truck... nice roll bar.. them are pretty expensive... lucked out dude!!!! nice score welcome to DF!

RE: The Pictures I Promised
Alright, I got another question (Fubba started to answer it earlier) in a sudden turn of events this evening I ruined one of my tires by running over a one inch piece of metal. Now I know the lift I want, it's a skyjacker 3" lift with dual steering stabilizer and possible Richmond Gears. but I can't install it and installed I've been quoted $1400 as the cheapest. I need to save up and get that down the road (hopefully soon, but not before Christmas). I want to get a good 285/75/16 I would like some suggestions on what tire and what rim. I'd like to go ProComp Xterrain (I'm open for suggestions though). However, they are suggesting 8.5-11 for rim range and all I seem to be finding is 8. I want to do this real soon. So if I could get an answer tonight I would probably buy everything tonight.
Also, from what I read this size tire won't rub without a lift. Is this right?
Please help
Thanks again
