Default Transfer Case leak

So my transfer case is leaking. Thought it was the Output seal, not so much. Apparently the T-case is a 3 part housing and ALL gaskets are bad. Do they sell actual seals or am I using RTV for that?

Im also looking for the tool they sell to properly do the front axle seals. I thought I was doing good with my home made one. But the axle seal is bad, again. Wanna do it right this time. Also the rear axle input seal seems to be leaking, is that a fun job?

Seal tools.

I don't think there are any gaskets on the t-case..... if you are going into it though, may not hurt to replace the chain while you are at it.

Rear pinion seal isn't too bad, read the procedure in the service manual a couple times before you dig into it though.

I'm going to guess that's why someone went in to it already. But I'll check it out. I'm saving up to get a rust free bed then I'll be happy with where it's at for the summer. Then when I put it away for storage I'm going to pull the t-case and tranny and go through them.

Lol I doubt I'll do anything beyond drop it off at a shop and pick it up. I'm not too sure I could pull off a transmission rebuild

Several members have done so. And they had never been in a trans before.

Sounds familiar..... Snowmobiles used to be useful about five months out of the year here, now, if you get two or three days of good riding, yer doing good. So, unless you can afford to drive north for a 'vacation', it just ain't worth the money any more.

Of course, motorcycle riding season has gotten longer.....

I got my sled for free so Im not complaining. Very true on the riding season, been debating on buying one. But im kinda holding off on making any more major purchases. I just got wind the other day a house I've wanted for quite some time may be going on the market and I get first shot at it.
