just removed the intake manifold. removed the plenum plate. most of the plenum bolts were finger tight allowing oil to get into intake. I had changed the plenum gasket about 25000 miles ago. the bolts were tighten at the time. i plan to use locktite this time and "shorten" the bolts to prevent the possible problem of the bolts bottoming out.

hey you: absolutely. using blue locktite, felpro gaskets. using new grade 5 bolts and washers (1/4-20, 3/4"). finished placing all on manifold.
now I am wrestling with the egr tube (95 ram) so I can remove it and make it easier to place manifold back in place more easily. one bolt is stuck. I bathed it in pb blaster. waiting for it to soften. tks
