I checked it on a flat surface and shined a flashlight down the spark pole hole and couldn't see anything along with down the pushrod hole

Sounds like you likely have a bad lifter or bad cam lobe. See if you can borrow a inspection camera to look down that pushrod hole on the head to get a closer look at the lifter. If not, then the next step will be to pull the intake to see what is truly causing your issue. I doubt if looking thru the spark plug hole will net any benefit.

When you have a moment, can you please update your user profile to include information about your truck (year, make, size engine, etc.).

Could those cause the truck not too start since I'm not getting compression in that cylinder? I have fuel and tested injector pulse along with all the spark plugs are new and gapped correctly and cap and rotor with new wires and correct wiring as I label all the wires

I'd think so. That issue definitely needs fixing for the motor to run right. Is this a 5.2 or 5.9 motor?

Edited my last post. I read quickly and was thinking that the rocker arm bolt hole was the hole that the valve goes through. When you remove the valve springs you need to snake a rope into the cylinder to keep the valve from falling into the cylinder.

Advance auto price matches Summitracing.com.
Summit has an Actron borescope for $49 and Advance has the same one for $89.
here's a link to Summit that you need to take to advance if you want one and don't want to wait for shipping https://www.summitracing.com/parts/xyz-cp7669

It is a 5.9 motor. So sheriff do you think it's a bad valve that's stuck open or something?

Stuck valve would have zero effect on the pushrod. If it isn't bent, you are sure it is actually on the lifter correctly, then you need to pull the intake and see WHY the lifter isn't moving.

One stuck valve won't make the engine not start, you'll just have one dead cylinder. You have something else going on there as well.

Did the lifter blow apart?
