Default Leveling Kit

Does anyone know a good place to get a 2.5 inch leveling kit for a 2001 1500 2 Wheel Drive Sport? every where i look i see for 4X4 my rear end sits about 4.3 inches higher than the front end and i dont like it with the front so low.

Yep that's the factory "rake' of the truck. I'm pretty sure Daystar and Rough Country make leveling spacers for 2wd 2nd gens. You could also lower the rear instead, depends on the look you're going for.

Not an issue on the 2wd trucks. That only happens on the 4x4s due to the way the suspension is set up.

Coil spring spacers are easy to find on summit, eBay etc. run around $100. 2.5" is starting to push what your upper arms/balljoints can handle. I believe with 3" my upper arms were resting on the bumpstops and upper balljoints were at their maximum angle. 2" is where you should be safe, longer shocks are recommended but I survived for a while till i upgraded mine.
But just so your aware the 2wd IFS has its limitations, you can only push it so far, believe me I attempted to maximize mine and I ended up downgrading from 3" to 2" just for a more comfortable ride.

Thats awesome thanks.

I was looking to go about 2 inches anyways was also going to upgrade the shocks at the same time since mine are still stock from 2001 its probably about time and probably my upper and lower ball joints as well since i already have to take the assembly apart might as well take it all the way and get longer life and better ride.

I have been looking into this and could i just buy bigger springs instead of the spacers? i know i will need/want new shocks but then ill need to compensate for a 4-5in lift. would that work? (if i got a spring that has a 2-3 inch lift
